Westlake Marching Festival

The 29th annual festival will be held Saturday, October 8, 2005

The Westlake Marching Festival is the single largest fundraiser for the Westlake Band Parents, benefiting every band and color guard member in our district from middle school through high school.  Thirty bands from Central and South Texas participate in a full day of performances which serves as a proving ground for all participants before their UIL performances the following week.  The 29th annual festival will be held Saturday, October 8, 2005. Westlake Band Parents is committed to providing the best hospitality to all its contestants; from bus parking, to warm-up rooms, to continuous food service, to video tapes of the performances.   This annual event is a dedicated effort of hundreds of volunteers, with some parents returning to help years after their students have graduated.  Sign up sheets will be available at the Summer Band Concert and Ice Cream Social as well as at the new/freshman band parent orientation meeting to be held during marching camp.  Sign up early to enjoy the shift and volunteer activity you prefer.  For more information, contact xxx
